This page is a plain-language summary. The Masculine Frame Programme Terms are the binding document, and Sections 16 to 20 of those Terms govern everything below. Where this page and the Terms differ, the Terms govern. Nothing here reduces your statutory rights.
THE SHORT VERSION
£199 a month. That is the whole price.
No joining fee. No setup fee. No onboarding fee. No assessment fee. No annual tier, no three-month tier, no six-month tier. No upsells, no add-ons, no premium features held back, no per-feature charges. Everything described on this website is included in the monthly price.
Cancel any time, in one step, from inside the Access Hub. No conversation. No retention offer. No approval step. No reason required.
Cancelling stops the next payment. You keep full access until the end of the month you have already paid for.
A month already under way is not refunded. That is the only refund rule there is, and it is stated plainly here rather than buried.
Your first fourteen days carry a statutory right to cancel under UK consumer law, which is separate from and stronger than anything above.
1. WHAT YOU PAY
The price is shown at checkout and is stated in pounds sterling.
Bear in Studio Ltd is not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged and the price you see is the price you pay.
Your card is charged on the same date each month, starting from the day your payment is first confirmed. Nothing is charged in advance beyond that first month, and there is no separate fee at any point for onboarding, for your assessment, or for setting up your programme.
If Bear in Studio Ltd becomes VAT registered in future, the price at checkout will be updated at that point and existing members will be given reasonable advance notice of any change to what they pay.
2. THERE IS NO LONGER TERM TO BUY
Membership is monthly and rolling. That is the only option.
There is no annual plan, no discounted six-month plan and no three-month commitment, and this is deliberate rather than an oversight. A longer term would mean taking a large sum from you in advance for work not yet done, and it would mean the programme has to earn your renewal once a year instead of once a month.
There is no minimum term. You are never locked in.
3. HOW TO CANCEL
Cancel from inside the Access Hub, in your account settings. It takes one step.
You can also cancel by emailing hello@bearinstudio.com from the address on your account.
You will not be asked to justify the decision, routed to a retention offer, asked to complete a survey, or told that someone will call you back. Cancellation is not a negotiation.
4. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU CANCEL
Your next payment stops. Nothing is charged after you cancel.
You keep access until the end of the month you have paid for. Your programme, your record and your coach remain available until that date, so a cancellation halfway through a month does not cut you off halfway through a week.
Your Bear Intelligence account deactivates at the same time your membership ends.
A month already under way is not refunded, and no pro-rata credit is issued for the unused part of it. This is set out in Section 19.1 of the Programme Terms.
Your record waits for you for twelve months. Members do come back, and coming back to a complete history is worth considerably more than starting again from nothing, so we hold it rather than wipe it the moment you leave. If you would rather it went immediately, say so and it does. Section 6 sets out how.
5. YOUR FIRST FOURTEEN DAYS
This is a statutory right, not a concession, and it applies to every member.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from your Start Date to cancel without giving any reason.
To use it, email hello@bearinstudio.com within those 14 days and say you are cancelling. You do not need to explain why.
If you have not used the service at all, you receive a full refund within 14 days of telling us.
If you have used it, you are charged a proportionate amount for what was actually supplied: the days of access you used, and any assessment and programme already prepared for you. The rest is refunded within 14 days.
That proportionate charge exists because the assessment and first programme are prepared specifically for you. The first programme is prepared within one to two working days after completed onboarding and receipt of the required information, and those are the most substantial early parts of the service. Section 18 of the Programme Terms sets out exactly how this works, including the confirmation you give at checkout that you want the service to begin immediately.
6. DELETING YOUR DATA
Cancelling ends the billing. Deleting erases the record. You can ask for either, or both, in either order, and asking for one never obliges you to take the other.
Ask, and it goes. Your account closes the moment you ask, and everything in your Access Hub and everything in your Bear Intelligence account, programmes, sessions, check-ins, photographs, messages and every word you ever wrote to Bear, is permanently deleted within 14 days. Not archived. Not deactivated indefinitely. Not held for thirty days in case you change your mind, and reversible only inside that 14-day window.
No exit interview. No retention offer. No queue. We confirm exactly two things: that you actually mean it, because deletion is irreversible, and that the person asking is you. Then we confirm in writing when it is done.
If you ask for nothing, the record simply waits twelve months and is then deleted for you.
Email hello@bearinstudio.com with the word deletion in the subject line. The Privacy Policy, Section 12, sets this out in full, including the one exception: billing and accounting records, which HMRC requires us to keep for six years.
7. IF WE END YOUR MEMBERSHIP
Bear in Studio Ltd may end a membership where a member materially breaches the Terms, gives false health or eligibility information, or where continued participation presents a risk to their health or safety or to others. Section 19.4 of the Programme Terms sets out the full list.
If we end your membership because of a health or safety concern that is not your fault, or because we withdraw or restructure the Programme, you receive a pro-rata refund for the unused prepaid part of your membership.
8. IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the service must be provided with reasonable care and skill, and digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
If it is not, you have rights that no term on this page or in the Terms can remove: repeat performance, or a price reduction where repeat performance is not possible or not done within a reasonable time.
Tell us first at hello@bearinstudio.com and we will deal with it. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can take the matter further, and Section 20 of the Programme Terms explains that route.
9. WHAT THIS PAGE DOES NOT DO
It does not replace the Programme Terms. It summarises Sections 16 to 20 of them in language you can read in two minutes.
It does not remove or limit any statutory right. Where anything here appears to conflict with your rights under UK consumer law, your rights win.
It does not cover what the coaching service includes or excludes. Section 7 and Section 7A of the Programme Terms cover that.
